Dan Horrigan

Dan Horrigan

Artistic Director
This is Dan's 4th season as At Hand's Artistic Director. He is proud to have produced Anton Dudley's Letters to the End of the World, Mark Snyder's Lila Cante, One Nation Under by Andrea Lepcio and 4 seasons of POP! Dan has directed At Hand's productions of Cake And Plays… But Without The Cake by Jono Hustis, Silence! by Brian Dykstra, and John Patrick Bray's Trickster at the Gate. Last season, Dan was honored to have At Hand present his autobiographical solo show, My AiDS. Other directing credits include Nicky Silver's The Altruists (Access Theatre), Cindy Lou Johnson's Brilliant Traces and PS Your Cat is Dead by James Kirkwood.

Justin Scribner

Executive Director

A founding board member, Justin became At Hand’s Executive Director in 2008. This past summer, At Hand produced a reading of a play that Justin co-wrote with Sarita Louise Moore, entitled A Host of Sparrows.  He also wrote Commuters Muted for At Hand’s first POP! and john/paul, which was directed by Dan Horrigan for Lynx Ensemble Theatre. On Broadway, Justin was a stage manager on God of Carnage, Rock of Ages, The American Plan, A Chorus Line, RENT, The Times They Are A-Changin’, Lennon, Pacific Overtures, Jumpers, Little Shop of Horrors, and Nine. Off-Broadway, he stage managed Alphabetical Order (Keen Co.) and A Contemporary American’s Guide to a Successful Marriage (Soho Playhouse), among others, and has also worked at NYTW, Atlantic, MTC, the Old Globe in San Diego, and the Kennedy Center.  BFA, VCU.


Josh Fiedler

Literary Manager

Josh is the Director Of Creative Development at Aged In Wood Productions, producers of Altar Boyz, American Idiot, Avenue Q, In The Heights, and the 2009 Revival of West Side Story. He is a Literary Associate at the Roundabout Theatre Company and is an Associate Producer of the Roundabout Underground, where he helped develop their productions of Stephen Karam’s Speech & Debate, Steven Levenson’s The Language of Trees, Adam Gwon’s Ordinary Days, and Kim Rosenstock’s Tigers Be Still.  He co-produced the 2005 World AIDS Day Benefit Concert of The Secret Garden and is a founding producer of the comedy group The Riot Act. Josh is a graduate of the University of Miami’s School of Music and Department of Theatre Arts.


Matthew DiCarlo

Matt is thrilled to join the team at At Hand this year!  As a stage manager, he currently works on Broadway's of Rock of Ages, and has been involved with the production since its off-Broadway run in 2008.  Other NY SM credits include Australia Plays Broadway! at Carnegie Hall, Broadway Backwards 6, the workshop of Harps & Angels, and The Happy Embalmer and The Brain From Planet X (NYMF). Regionally, Matt has served on the stage management team for over 10 productions at the Paper Mill Playhouse. As a director, Matt has helmed numerous productions in PA & NJ, including Oliver!, Forever Plaid, The Sound of Music and Little Women at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA. BFA in Theater Production & Management, Mason Gross School for the Arts at Rutgers University.

Angela F. Kiessel

Angela joined the At Hand family in November 2009 after graduating with a BFA from University of Michigan earlier that year.  In addition to her position at At Hand, she works as a freelance stage manager around the city.  Favorite SM credits include At Hand's MY AiDS, The Active Theater's Venus Fly Trap and Magnetic North, BC/EFA's Broadway Backwards 5, various workshops of Bobby Cronin's The Beaten Path, and U of M's productions of RENT and 42nd Street.  She has also worked at the Kennedy Center, Heritage Repertory Theatre, Michigan Shakespeare Festival, and the fabulous Weathervane Theatre in NH for the past three summers.

Laura has worked extensively in the New Orleans theatre community, including over 10 years with All Kinds of Theatre.  Since moving to New York she has worked at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and Splinter Group Productions.  Laura has been working with At Hand Theatre Company since 2009.  She is currently pursuing a career in the holistic and healing arts. TJ Fix

TJ Fix

Event Coordinator
TJ has been working with At Hand Theatre Company since its founding in 2007. He has helped coordinate and plan opening/closing night parties for Letters to the End of the World, My AiDs, and Lila Cante at various venues around NYC.  TJ also helped co-produce At Hand Presents: Broadway Recycled at Joe's Pub with Anthony Rapp and Mario Cantone.  Other event coordinating experience includes engagement parties, corporate functions, holiday parties, fund raisers, business outings, and served as wedding coordinator.

Howard Grier

Howard Grier

Board Member
Howard is currently the Associate Publisher of Marketing at Seventeen Magazine and has previously held marketing positions for Vogue, Details, Glamour, Esquire and other titles. In his career, he has met Madonna, argued with the Secret Service, appeared (extremely briefly) on America’s Next Top Model and worked many late nights thinking up new ways to make feminine hygiene products interesting. Howard enjoys mentoring students and has spoken at the American Marketing Association’s Northeast Regional Conference, Adweek’s What Teens Want Conference and others. He has been a regular volunteer for Gods Love We Deliver & AIDS Walk NYC and is a proud supporter of non-profit theatre.

Board Member
Julia is very proud to support At Hand as a board member.  She spends her days at Dragonfly Productions whose Broadway credits include American Idiot, Cry-Baby, Spamalot, and Hairspray among others.  She also loves, and occasionally helps out, the ladies at the Women’s Expressive Theatre (WET) and Choices in Childbirth.

Phong is a huge fan of the performing arts, especially of At Hand Theatre
and is thrilled to be one of the newest members of the board. As a dentist anesthesiologist he practices both general dentistry and anesthesia throughout New York City with his main office located in Midtown Manhattan. When not practicing dental anesthesia, Phong is practicing the violin and
can be seen performing with the Queer Urban Orchestra as its concertmaster.

Anton Dudley's plays include Substitution (Playwrights Realm@Soho Playhouse featuring Jan Maxwell), Getting Home (Secondstage Theatre directed by David Schweizer), Slag Heap (Cherry Lane Theatre featuring Vincent Kartheiser), Cold Hard Cash (Williamstown Theatre Festival), The Lake's End (Adirondack Theatre Festival featuring Jason Butler Harner), and Honor and the River (Walnut Street Theatre, Luna Stage, New York Stage & Film, and SPF featuring Jan Maxwell).  His work is published by Playscripts, Inc., Meriwether Publishing, Heinemann Press, Backstage Books, and Vintage.  The award-winning short film of his play Davy & Stu appears on Strand Releasing's Boys Life 6.  For At Hand, Anton directed the premiere of his Letters to the End of the World at Theatre Row.  He is a member of MCC Theater's Playwrights Coalition and a "Usual Suspect" at New York Theatre Workshop.

Directing Highlights: Lieutenant of Inishmore (assistant director, Broadway), Wipe Away (Samuel French Off-Off-Broadway Festival), Meanwhile in Baghdad, Apocalypse: Book One (New York International Fringe Festival), Dick Bell Balls Out (Ex Libris Theatre), Speaking in Stomachs (SITEfest) Wishing Time (Vital Theater) and a bucket of other work with wonderful people. Producing Credits: The Claque (Artistic Director/Founder), New York Arab-American Comedy Festival (Artistic Director/Producer), Coleavens Industries (President/Co-founder), The Funny (Producer 2004, 2005). He is a founding member of Brooklyn based performance and writers collective BOOMSLANG and a proud Artistic Associate of At Hand Theatre. Fun fact: Nick has also worked at an international renowned museum, a startup pickle company, an amusement park, a textile factory and as a farm hand.

Sarita Louise Moore

Sarita is a dancer, choreographer, yogini and playwright.  She was recently named faculty for the Stella Adler Studio of Acting where she is training young actors to breathe, move and find their "voice" through the body. Sarita’s theatrical work includes choreographing for Trickster at the Gate and My Future Husband is Dead both produced by At Hand Theatre Company and Dance Picnic produced by Play Movement Theatre.  As a dancer Sarita has been featured in numerous works including Trickster at the Gate, My Future Husband is Dead, Flip Flop & Platforms, Revelries & Reveries, Dance Picnic, and Sightlines, Pick-Up Lines & Other Clichés. This past summer, At Hand produced a reading of a play that she co-wrote with Justin Scribner, entitled A Host of SparrowsClick here for her current teaching and performing schedule.

Kimberly Rossiter

Kimberly is an actor/writer and a proud member of At Hand Theatre.  Acting credits include Nicky Silver’s The Altruists (Access Theatre), Bryan Dykstra’s Paris’ Snatch (At Hand), Crawlspace (Second City, Chicago), and two years with NY based sketch group The Awkward Phase. Writing credits include Maddie Loves Mongo (Second City, Chicago).  In addition to receiving her BFA in Performance from Hofstra University, Kimberly graduated from both the Conservatory and Writing programs at Second City, Chicago and currently studies sketch and improv at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade.

Mark Snyder

Mark Snyder

Mark Snyder’s plays include Wipe Away, Lila Cante, The Beanbag Game, Lilith on Today, and The Sounds of Ice, as well as many one-acts and shorter plays.  His latest play, A Decent Stretch, will premiere this fall in New York as a staged reading for At Hand Theatre, where he is an Artistic Associate.  For three summers, he hosted and performed in Red Light Nights at New York’s The Slipper Room (Firecracker Productions).  His plays have been produced and developed in Chicago, San Francisco, and Portland.  His interviews and essays have appeared in Queerty, ThePeeq, and at Maud Newton.com, and he has read new work at Pete’s Candy Store (courtesy of the2ndHand.com) and throughout downtown NYC.  BA, Otterbein College.  MFA, Ohio University.  Mark was born in Warren, Ohio and can be found at www.facebook.com/markbsnyder.
